Job: Assistant Professor in Transport Systems at KTH, Stockholm

The Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm Sweden, is seeking applicants for a tenure-track position at the level of assistant professor, effective Summer 2011.  The subject area is in Transport Systems. Applicants must have an earned PhD degree in an appropriate field and background and research interests in a related area by the application deadline.

The new professor will benefit from recent initiatives such as the strategic research funding in the transport area (TRENoP), the establishment of an ITS lab in collaboration with industry and the authorities with real time feeds of GPS-based traffic data. The position comes with a generous start-up package.
