 Transport Research & the Economic Crisis

In recognition of this important subject, the European Transport Conference 2013 will dedicate a complete day, Tuesday 2nd October, to discuss the role of transport investments in economic recovery.

We will look closely at state-of-the-art and current debates in transport research, and examine the actual plans and debates in four countries; Germany, United Kingdom, Italy and The Netherlands.The Association is proud to announce that Prof. Werner Rothengatter will deliver the keynote speech on this subject. And, in a later session on the same day, professors Roger Vickerman, Marco Ponti, and Piet Rietveld will speak about their views and the specific situations in their countries.

There is also a session with five selected papers, together with a debate at the end of the agenda, that will focus on the future of this subject.
