Opportunities to join a leading transport academic team at Monash University

For over 45 years Australia’s Monash University has been leader in transport research and education. Monash University is ranked as one of the world’s top 100 universities, and Monash’s transport program reaches from its main campus in Melbourne, Australia to the Kuala Lumpur Campus of Monash Malaysia and to the Monash-South East University Joint Graduate School located in Suzhou China. The Monash Institute of Transport Studies (Monash ITS) brings together 14 academic and professional staff with more than 150 Masters and PhD students.

Two opportunities exist to join Monash ITS, either as a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer or as a Research Fellow. To complement their existing capabilities they are particularly looking for someone with a background in traffic engineering or traffic flow to fill the Lecturer/Senior Lecturer position. The second opportunity is focussed in the field of Intelligent Transport Systems. The person appointed to the research fellow position will work closely with Professor Hai Vu, who recently joined Monash ITS as its Professor of Intelligent Transport Systems. These positions will be based at Monash’s main campus in Melbourne, Australia.
