Professor Mahdieh Allahviranloo, http://mahdiehallahvrianloo.ccny.cuny.edu/ , is seeking applicants for PhD position starting in Fall 217, in Transportation Program, at the City College of New York.

Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, optimization, network modelling, pattern recognition and data mining. Students with background in Civil Engineering, Statistics, Industrial Engineer, and Computer science are welcome to apply.  They offer full support for tuition for the period of 5 years and stipend for at least 2.5 years at the rate of $30,000/year. Stipend beyond 2.5 years will depend on the performance of the PhD student.
