This is an exciting opportunity to join the Faculty in Engineering and the Environment at its new Boldrewood Innovation Campus in Southampton. This post is associated with the Transportation Group – A multi-disciplinary group founded in 1967 and recognised worldwide as a leading University centre for research, teaching and knowledge transfer in transportation.

You will contribute both to undergraduate teaching on our MEng/BEng Engineering Programmes and, particularly, to our well established Masters Programme in Transportation Planning and Engineering – Teaching Highway and Traffic Engineering and complementary topics as appropriate.  There will also be a requirement for the supervision of postgraduate students.

With a PhD (or equivalent) in Transportation Engineering, you’ll have a growing portfolio of research projects and publications in areas of transportation which complement and extend the existing strengths of the Group.
