The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of Northwestern invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in transportation.

The position begins as soon as possible in the broader area of demand analysis of emerging transportation systems, context/community sensitive transportation policy, development of survey and data-collection and quantitative models. Outstanding candidates with expertise in related areas will also be considered.

The successful candidate will work with Dr. Amanda Stathopoulos on projects related to transportation demand modeling, planning and operations (both on passenger and freight sides). The salary starts at 47500 with an initial appointment period of 12 months with possibility of extension to a second year based on performance.
