The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the American University of Beirut (AUB) invites applications for a faculty position in the area of Transportation Engineering at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor.

Applicants for this position should hold a Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering in the area of Transportation Engineering. Candidates with research interest in traffic engineering (operations, control, modeling and simulation, intelligent transportation systems), transportation infrastructure planning and management, and/or geomatics (surveying, remote sensing, GIS, GPS, mapping, mobile internet applications) are particularly encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate is expected to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in the candidate’s field, participate in program development, and be active in research.
