The University of Leeds is offering a number of University Research Scholarships for students from the United Kingdom and the European Union.  The Scholarships are available to new students wishing to commence doctoral study in any Faculty at the University of Leeds.
Faculty closing dates for applications from candidates are indicated below:

The Scholarships for full-time study (which will be taken up from 1 October 2014) will provide academic fees at the University of Leeds standard UK rate and a maintenance grant (£13,726 in Session 2013/14) per annum (full-time rate) for up to three years subject to satisfactory academic progress.
Information about available research topics should be sought from the Schools concerned.
Application forms, regulations and guidance notes for completion of applications are available from the Postgraduate Scholarships Office (tel: 0113 3434077) or by e-mail request –pg_scholarships@leeds.ac.uk (please indicate the School/Faculty in which you intend to study as there is a separate application form for each Faculty).  Application forms are also available from the following web address – http://www.leeds.ac.uk/rds/postgraduate_scholarships/urs-info.doc

Completed University Scholarship Application Forms should be returned to the Postgraduate Scholarships Office by the date specified above.
