3 year PhD position funded by Horizon2020 project Skillful available at University College Dublin
The successful PhD candidate will be engaged in a multidisciplinary, cross-national project looking at the role of transport workers and professionals in Europe.
The objective of the PhD project will be to establish how training in the transport sector needs to develop in order to prepare workers for new technologies and roles.
The PhD candidate will engage in identifying training already in place across the European Union, with a particular focus on identifying emerging and innovative training.
The PhD candidate will engage in developing new models of training for transport professionals.
Scholarship:
The scholarship consists of fees paid at the EU rate for 3 years and a stipend (tax-free) of approximately €21,000 per year. There are also many opportunities in UCD to engage in training in innovation, entrepreneurship and transferable skills during your PhD.
